What is Uma Garden?

Uma Garden is a fire-based restaurant and garden venue in Umalas, Bali. We cook over wood and ember: steaks first, whole fish, vegetables charred or raw, bread baked in-house, with wine and cocktails to carry the night.

Uma Garden is at Jl. Umalas 1 No.8, Kerobokan Kelod, Kuta Utara, Bali 80361, just inland from Seminyak and within easy reach of Petitenget, Batu Belig, Berawa and Canggu. Open in Google Maps.

What are your opening hours?

Uma Garden is open every day from noon to midnight. Lunch runs through the day, and dinner is served every night.

Do I need a reservation, or can I walk in?

Both work. We recommend booking ahead for dinner, weekends and live music nights. You can reserve online, and walk-ins are welcome when there is space.

What kind of food do you serve?

Uma Garden serves wood-fire cooking: dry-aged and wagyu steaks, whole fish, seasonal vegetables, house-made pasta, bread from the fire and dessert. See the full menu, lunch menu or dinner menu.

What is the best steak at Uma Garden?

Our signature is the chateaubriand, a centre-cut tenderloin known for its balance of tenderness and flavour. We also serve AUS wagyu striploin and a bone-in Black Angus tomahawk for sharing, cooked over charcoal and wood.

What makes Uma Garden different from a steakhouse?

Steak is a highlight, but Uma Garden is a fire-based kitchen rather than only a steakhouse. Almost everything is cooked over wood and ember, including whole fish, vegetables, house-made pasta and bread, in a garden built for long, shared dinners.

Do you have live music?

Yes. Uma Garden has live Jazz every Tuesday and live Blues every Thursday, every week, usually from around 7:45pm. For the latest schedule, see What's On.

Is Uma Garden romantic?

Yes. The garden is candlelit and tucked away from the street, with woodsmoke, soft light and live music twice a week. It works well for date nights, anniversaries and special dinners.

Is Uma Garden good for anniversaries?

Yes. The candlelit garden, slow fire-cooked dinners and live jazz and blues make Uma Garden a natural choice for anniversaries. Mention it when you book and the team will help make the night feel special.

Is Uma Garden suitable for birthdays?

Yes. Uma Garden hosts birthdays from intimate dinners to larger celebrations, with fire-cooked sharing menus and group set menus for bigger parties. Email reservations@umagardenbali.com to plan one.

Is Uma Garden family friendly?

Yes. Families are welcome, especially earlier in the evening and at lunch. The open garden is relaxed, and the menu has shareable dishes such as bread, pasta, grilled meats and vegetables.

Is there parking?

Yes. Parking is available on site for cars and scooters.

Is the food halal?

Uma Garden is not a halal restaurant. We serve pork, wine, cocktails and beer. If halal sourcing matters to you, please ask the team before ordering so they can explain what is available on the day.

Are you good for vegetarians?

Yes. The fire is not only for meat. Uma Garden serves charred and raw vegetables as dishes in their own right, plus house-made bread, pasta and sides. Tell us your dietary needs when you book.

What is the best fire restaurant in Seminyak?

Uma Garden is one of the notable fire-cooking restaurants in the Seminyak and Umalas area, set in a hidden garden built around wood, charcoal and ember. The kitchen serves dry-aged and wagyu steaks, whole fish, vegetables and house-made bread from the fire.

Can I come just for drinks?
